Theatre Manager - North West London

Our Client is an Independent Hospital based in North West London. They are looking for a new Theatre Manager to run 4 theatres. The salary for the role is between £37k- £40k.

They are looking for a Theatre Manager, Operational Manager, Clinical Leader or Registered Nurse grade G (5 years) with theatre experience to provide operational and strategic leadership and to ensure that the existing level of high quality is upheld and that the theatres are run cost effectively. To recruit, train and develop the team, to maintain budget targets and to develop programmes for ongoing training within the theatre department and the hospital. The candidate must also provide orientation for new consultant users to the theatre department and write the operational policy for the department.

You will ideally have personnel management expertise and financial management to maximise resources and develop strategic goals. A diploma in management leadership and a professionally post registration recognised theatre/ anaesthetic practice course is essential. Awareness of evidence-based practice is required, D32/33/34 is desirable.

Leadership communications, policy development, change management and computer literacy are essential.

Personality wise, they would like an individual who is adaptable and flexible, someone who has goals and vision, who is a people's person, can lead and motivate and deal with a pressured environment.
